Role Description
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our delivery team in Ho Chi Minh City. This role is ideal for candidates who have 3+ year of experience in IT project management and wish to grow into a professional Project Manager role.
- You will work closely with senior managers and clients to support project planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Assist in managing end-to-end software project delivery, from requirement clarification to deployment.
- Support the Project Manager in planning project scope, schedule, resources, and risk management.
- Coordinate daily project activities and track progress to ensure deliverables meet timelines and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve issues and align expectations.
- Prepare project documentation: status reports, meeting minutes, change requests, etc.
- Participate in team meetings, provide support to technical teams (developers, testers, BAs).
- Ensure compliance with company and customer project management processes.
- Continuously learn and improve project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ year of experience as an IT Project Manager
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong communication and coordination skills. Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- English: Good at both written and verbal communication (equivalent to B2 level or above).
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
Nice-to-have:
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum project management.
- Experience using project management tools (Jira, Trello, Redmine, MS Project).
- PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification is a plus.
- Experience working with international clients
