Job Responsibilities
IT Operation & Support Leadership:
- Lead and oversee IT Support services across Vietnam, covering
- Store Technology: POS systems, printers, payment devices, internet connectivity, cameras, fingerprint devices, etc.
- Back Office & Corporate IT: laptops, servers, conference systems, internet, enterprise software.
- Enterprise/ POS Software: support, patching, troubleshooting, sales data integrity.
- New Store Setup: technology provisioning, testing, and go-live support.
- Infrastructure & Cyber Security support & implementation.
- Manage a team of in-house IT personnels/ manage vendor SLA, ensure high service quality, and act as escalation point.
- Maintain & expand Process Digitization efforts.
IT Budget Management:
- Own and manage Vietnam IT OPEX and CAPEX budget.
- Ensure cost optimization, vendor efficiency, and alignment with business priorities.
- Provide transparent reporting and forecasts to Vietnam leadership and Regional DTS.
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with local business functions (Operations, Finance, Marketing, People and Culture, etc.) to understand their needs and translate them into IT solutions.
- Communicate and manage expectations with business users regarding project delivery and incident resolution.
Leadership & Strategy:
- Be part of the Vietnam leadership team to support business growth and operational excellence.
- Contribute to shaping the Vietnam Digital Roadmap together with the Group CTO, aligning with both local market needs and group digital strategy.
- Build a high-performing, customer-centric IT culture within the Vietnam DTS team.
- Ensure compliance with group - wide IT governance, security, and data policies.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally in retail, F&B, or multi-site consumer businesses.
- Strong track record of managing IT operations, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders and balance global vs. local IT needs.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and/or vendors in a service delivery context.
- Experience with POS systems, store technology, enterprise applications, and IT infrastructure is a plus.
Knowledge/ Skills:
- Strong business acumen and ability to act as a translator between business and technology.
- Excellent vendor and project management skills.
- Solid knowledge of IT service management.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix structure (local vs. regional).
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese. Mandarin or Cantonese capability is a plus.
