Key Responsibilities
- IT Operations Management Manage daily IT operations and ensure all systems function effectively. Monitor servers, networks, internet connectivity, and system performance. Ensure minimal downtime and quick recovery during system issues. Maintain IT infrastructure including: Computers and laptops Printers and scanners Telephones Wi-Fi systems CCTV systems Door lock systems TVs and AV equipment Conduct preventive maintenance for all IT equipment.
- Technical Support Provide technical support to all departments and users. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Ensure timely response and resolution of IT tickets. Support employee onboarding/offboarding: Email setup User account creation Access permissions Device allocation Conduct basic IT and cybersecurity training for employees.
- Network & Infrastructure Maintain LAN/WAN networks and internet stability. Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. Monitor network security and bandwidth usage. Maintain server rooms and ensure proper backup power/environment conditions. Coordinate with internet and telecom providers.
- Cybersecurity & Data Protection Ensure IT systems comply with security standards and company policies. Manage: Antivirus systems Firewalls Endpoint protection Access control Protect company data from unauthorized access and cyber threats. Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery testing. Monitor suspicious activities and security risks.
- Systems Administration Manage and support operational systems such as: PMS (Opera or similar) POS systems HR systems Finance systems Email systems Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and integrations. Liaise with vendors for troubleshooting and support.
- IT Project Management Lead IT-related projects and implementations. Coordinate system upgrades and new technology rollouts. Prepare project plans, timelines, and budgets. Work closely with department heads to understand operational needs. Recommend technology improvements to increase efficiency.
- Vendor & Asset Management Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Maintain IT inventory and asset records. Track warranties, licenses, and maintenance contracts. Ensure cost-effective procurement of IT equipment and services.
- Budget & Administration
Prepare annual IT budget and monitor expenses.
Control IT costs while maintaining operational standards.
Submit monthly IT reports and recommendations.
- Team Leadership Supervise and guide IT team members. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching sessions. Schedule team coverage and assign responsibilities. Promote teamwork and service-oriented support culture.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of IT experience.
Previous Supervisory Or Managerial Experience Preferred.
Hospitality industry experience is an advantage.
