About the Role

We are looking for an Fresher IT Helpdesk Officer to support employees with workstation-related needs and ensure IT equipment is properly prepared, maintained, and tracked throughout its lifecycle. The role supports onboarding activities, provides first-line hardware support, coordinates repairs and replacements with vendors, and maintains accurate asset records for laptops, monitors, and other workplace technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support employee onboarding by coordinating account requests and preparing IT equipment.
  • Configure and prepare laptops and peripherals for new employees.
  • Provide first-line support for laptop and workstation issues, including performance, battery, and hardware-related problems.
  • Perform basic hardware maintenance and upgrades.
  • Coordinate repairs, warranty claims, and replacements with external vendors.
  • Research and recommend workstation hardware specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and manage equipment handovers and returns.
  • Support hardware inventory management and lifecycle tracking.

Requirements

  • Fresh graduates or up to 1 year of experience in IT Support role.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
  • Good command of English, especially verbal.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Attention to detail in asset management and documentation.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
