Purpose of the Job
This job contributes to the company's success by leading the Business Intelligence, Data & AI pillar — delivering effective data collection, analysis, visualization, and AI use-cases that support data-driven decision-making across all brands.
Working within the BI/data/AI roadmap defined with the IT Senior Manager, the BI, Data & AI Manager runs the data platform, manages the data team, and ensures data quality, governance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Strategy Execution — support the IT Senior Manager in defining the BI/data/AI roadmap and data governance framework, and own its delivery across the pillar.
- Data Platform & Single Source of Truth — manage the data lake / data warehouse — consolidating ERP, POS, CRM and digital data into a clean, standardized, trusted single source of truth.
- Data Analysis & Reporting — lead analysis of operational, financial and customer data; manage enterprise dashboards, KPI models and reporting standards (required fields, data volume, reporting logic) in Power BI/Tableau.
- AI & Advanced Analytics — deliver AI-driven insights, forecasting, recommendation and segmentation use-cases; oversee ML model build and deployment.
- System Integration — ensure BI/AI tools integrate seamlessly with ERP, digital solutions and retail systems.
- Project Management — lead BI/data/AI projects — tool implementation, upgrades and automation.
- Data Governance, Quality & Security — maintain data-quality standards, privacy and security controls, and compliance with local regulation (Decree 13/2023).
- Vendor Management — coordinate with BI/data platform providers and consultants for timely, cost-effective support.
- Cross-functional Collaboration — partner with Operations, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain and HR to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Team Leadership — lead, coach and develop the Data Analyst / Data Engineer / AI Engineer team to achieve high performance.
- Continuous Improvement — identify opportunities to enhance BI processes, tools and AI adoption.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 5–7 years in BI/data/analytics, including 1–2 years leading or mentoring a data team; retail/F&B or multi-site experience preferred.
- Strong expertise in BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik), SQL, and data warehousing / ETL / cloud data platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms (Azure ML, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI) and Python/R.
- Solid understanding of data governance, privacy and security.
- Good stakeholder management, problem-solving and communication skills.
