Job Summary:

The IT Business Development Executive is primarily responsible for directly identifying, consulting on solutions for, and closing software outsourcing and custom software development projects to achieve the company's revenue targets. Concurrently, this role also advises the Board of Directors on business strategies and market development, ensuring the company stays ahead of trends and optimizes operational efficiency.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Core Sales & Project Acquisition

  • Proactively identify and approach potential clients with software development and outsourcing needs in both domestic and international markets through channels such as LinkedIn, Upwork, email, conferences, networking, etc.
  • Analyze client requirements and collaborate with the technical team to build proposals, quotations, bid for tenders, and consult on solutions for clients.
  • Represent the company in communicating, negotiating, and closing contracts with clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical and delivery departments to ensure project progress, quality, and client satisfaction.

Strategic Consulting & Market Development

  • Analyze technology trends and software outsourcing demands in potential markets (Vietnam, Japan, US, EU, Australia, etc.).
  • Advise the Board of Directors on software outsourcing market trends, new technologies offering competitive advantages, technologies with long-term and sustainable value, potential client segments, competitive strategies, and service expansion opportunities.
  • Contribute and propose ideas to improve sales processes, enhance service quality, and optimize business efficiency.
  • Identify target client segments by industry, size, and business characteristics.
  • Research competitor activities and propose suitable engagement strategies.
  • Build a quarterly/annual business plan and sales strategy.

Client Relationship Management & Post-Sales Support

  • Build and develop trusted, sustainable relationships with new and potential clients, aiming for long-term collaborations.
  • Maintain connections, update information, and understand needs for post-sales client care.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion from existing clients (up-sell, cross-sell, etc.).
  • Ensure a smooth project handover process to the engineering team after contract closing.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor KPIs and report results periodically to the Board of Directors.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of specialized experience in IT Outsourcing/Software Development Services sales.
  • Deep understanding of outsourcing engagement models (Fixed Price, Time & Material, Dedicated Team, ODC - Offshore Development Center) and how to articulate value for each model.
  • Possesses a broad network within the industry or can rapidly build a network.
  • Proven experience in client acquisition through channels such as LinkedIn, Upwork, email, and referrals is a significant advantage.
  • Experience working with B2B clients.

Professional Skills:

  • Excellent Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to persuade, negotiate, handle objections, and effectively close deals.
  • In-depth IT Knowledge: Profound understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), popular technologies and platforms (Cloud, Mobile, Web, AI/ML...), enabling effective consultation and technical discussions with clients, and a clear grasp of the engineering team's capabilities.
  • Impressive Communication & Presentation Skills: Ability to clearly, engagingly, and persuasively present ideas and solutions to high-level clients.
  • Proactive, Results-Oriented Mindset: Demonstrates initiative, focuses on achieving targets, and can perform under sales pressure.
  • Possessing an existing network of clients/businesses is a very significant advantage.
  • Fluent English (required): High-level communication skills (speaking & writing) at a Business Fluent level for direct interaction with international clients.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market needs, client requirements, and sales data.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM) and lead generation/management tools.
  • Results-Driven: Consistently sets high goals and actively strives to achieve them.
  • Ability to work independently and under high pressure to meet targets.
