About Business Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst with a solid background in the hospitality/travel/fintech domain to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be working closely with our UK-based client, collaborating across cross-functional teams to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for various financial systems and solutions.

Responsibilities

o Elicit and analyze business and system requirements from clients.

o Prepare detailed requirements documents, process flows, and functional specifications.

o Liaise with clients and internal teams for solution design and validation, including bridging communication between business users and technical teams.

o Manage and prioritize product backlogs, sprint backlogs

o Define and document integration flows for third-party systems (e.g., Channel Managers, booking engines, or payment gateways).

o Support PM to monitor project progress, support testing phases (UAT), and address issues promptly.

o Contribute to risk assessment, change impact analysis activities, and propose system improvements.

Requirements

Experience & Domain Knowledge

o Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.

o Experience in the hospitality, travel, or fintech domain is a big plus.

o Proven experience collaborating with global clients/stakeholders (especially UK-based) is a strong advantage.

Technical & Core Skills

o Agile/Scrum: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with hands-on experience in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and workflow tracking.

o System Integration: Familiarity with API documentation (REST/SOAP) and experience handling partner integrations.

o Tools: Strong command of essential BA tools, including JIRA, Confluence, Balsamiq, Figma, and MS Visio

o AI Leverage: Hands-on with AI tool(s) to foster role productivity and efficiency (e.g., requirements structuring, generating user stories, or data analysis).

Analytical & Soft Skills

o Ownership & Accountability: Take initiative and full responsibility for the quality of requirements, ensuring smooth project delivery across all sprints.

o Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to solution design rather than just gathering requirements.

o Communication: Efficient English communication (both written and spoken) to work seamlessly with cross-functional and international teams.
