ABOUT THE JOB
- Gather, analyze, and define business requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards within the insurance/financial sector.
- Translate business requirements into detailed documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), User Stories, and Use Cases.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation such as business process flows, flowcharts, ERD, data mapping, and user manuals.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, clear, and easily understood by relevant stakeholders (IT, Business, QC).
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT): prepare test scenarios, validate results, and ensure product quality.
- Collaborate closely with development, testing, and business teams to resolve issues during project implementation.
- Understand and work with data models, and system integration touchpoints.
- Support the creation and maintenance of data dictionaries and system-to-system data mapping.
- Ensure data governance and information security standards are followed.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, IT, Information Systems, or related fields
- 35 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance or financial domain.
- Strong ability to write structured, detailed, and clear technical documentation.
- Good understanding of insurance or financial business processes.
- Data analysis and data management skills are an advantage.
- Proficiency with documentation tools (Confluence, MS Office) and diagramming tools (Figma, Visio, Lucidchart).
- Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and system integration concepts.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Certifications: CBAP/CCBA, Power BI, or Technical Writing is a good plus.
