SCOPE OF WORK
The IT Business Analyst is responsible for the strategic alignment, operational excellence, and technical oversight of casino gaming and business applications. This role ensures system reliability, stability, and performance optimization while providing daily support to key stakeholders and collaborating within the IT team.
You will support gaming systems, work closely with vendors, and work out the implementation of solutions and products that meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Strategic Alignment & Leadership
- Align gaming system projects with business objectives and IT strategies.
- Contribute to systems planning and road maps.
- Promote organizational values and culture through leadership.
2. System Maintenance & Change management
- Ensure continuous support and maintenance of gaming systems and business applications.
- Achieve and maintain 99.99% system uptime.
- Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure systems align with requirements.
- Test new features or system enhancements, prior end user acceptance testing.
- Support end user acceptance testing and plan transitions to production, with minimal disruption.
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate business requirements, for functional and non-functional specifications.
- Support project planning and stakeholder analysis.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and external audit standards.
4. Knowledge Transfer & Training
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across Business Analysts and service desk teams.
- Organize training sessions to enhance technical skills and system understanding.
5. Vendor Management & Risk Mitigation
- Manage relationships with vendors and ensure incident resolutions are within SLAs.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with adoption technology.
6. Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Provide regular reports on system performance, utilization, and security.
- Evaluate and optimize business processes for improved value delivery.
- Enforce IT policies and implement best practices.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and system records.
7. Team Development
- Lead and mentor IT team members to foster a high-performance culture.
- Encourage collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field.
- Proven experience in systems support or IT operations.
- Strong understanding of technologies, compliance requirements, and system integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast paced, high under pressure environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with casino and hospitality related systems for integrated resorts is an advantage.
- At least 2 years experience in a business analyst role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and English communication skills.
