Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an IT Business Analyst based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, with a focus on the retail industry and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
You will be responsible for analyzing complex business processes, gathering and validating requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of systems. The role requires a strong combination of retail business understanding, technical acumen, and hands-on experience with enterprise-scale systems.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of retail business operations, Omni System, and POS systems, including in-store workflows, promotions, inventory, and customer experience.
- Solid knowledge of information technologies and system integration practices.
- Strong technical foundation able to translate business requirements into system logic, workflows, and data flows
- 5+ years of experience analyzing and designing large-scale business systems, preferably across multiple business domains.
- Proven ability to define business requirements, document processes, and translate them into functional specifications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication skills to work with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Experience working in or with retail organizations is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
