Responsibilities and Duties
- Gather, analyze, and transform business requirements into functional documentation.
- Act as a bridge between the client's business stakeholders and the technical team.
- Conduct workshops with clients to perform deep-dive business analysis.
- Author key project documents, including BRD, FSD, SRS, and User Stories.
- Collaborate closely with SA, PM, and Developers to propose appropriate solutions.
- Define business rules and validation logic.
- Support SIT/UAT processes and develop business test cases.
- Verify and obtain UAT sign-off from clients.
- Manage product backlogs and handle Change Requests (CR).
- Perform other duties as requested by superiors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher, majoring in related disciplines.
- From 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience working as a BA at IT solution/service providers for airlines or OTA (Online Travel Agency) businesses in the flight-booking domain is a strong plus.
- Fluent English communication.
- Understand about project management with Waterfall, Scrum or Agile methodologies.
- Expertise in authoring BRD, FSD, and SRS documents.
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles, APIs, and data flows.
- Ability to model processes using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) and UML (Unified Modeling Language).
- Excellent communication skills with both business and IT stakeholders.
- Strong logical analysis and analytical thinking.
- Proven presentation and workshop facilitation skills.
- Proficient in change management and expectation management.
- Excellent communicative, pro-active, and ability to work under pressure.
