JD: IT Application Engineer – Hai Duong
Job Descriptions
- Provide operational and technical support for manufacturing systems, including MES, MPP, BPM, SAP, and other shop floor applications.
- Maintain stable day-to-day system operations by handling issue investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution to support uninterrupted production and accurate data management.
- Assist in system validation, configuration checks, and continuous improvement of application performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with APAC IT teams and external consultants to adapt regional solutions to local manufacturing processes in Vietnam.
- Ensure implemented solutions are practical, user-friendly, and effectively adopted by local operations teams rather than direct standard-template deployments.
- Support project implementation activities, including requirement gathering, testing coordination, user acceptance support, go-live execution, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and consulting partners throughout project delivery stages.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks/issues, and provide timely updates to APAC IT management.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is required.
- Experience working within manufacturing or factory IT environments.
- Familiarity with system implementation, process standardization, or multi-site IT deployment projects.
- Experience collaborating with regional or global IT organizations.
- Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing applications such as MES, SAP, or equivalent factory systems.
