JOB PURPOSE
- Ensure investment activities are effective and investment risks are minimized.
- Implement M&A strategies aligned with the Groups overall development strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Investment Management(Approx. 80% of time)
Frequency: Weekly / Monthly / Annually
- Participate in the development and management of short-term and long-term M&A strategies.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of strategic partnerships, M&A transactions, IPOs, etc.
- Collaborate and negotiate with partners, advisory firms, and internal teams to execute strategic partnership and M&A initiatives.
- Build financial valuation models for Gemadept (GMD), subsidiaries, and target companies.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide investment-related recommendations (e.g., business efficiency, project feasibility studies (FS), M&A deal structure, transaction pricing, financial terms, asset valuation, cash flow analysis, etc.).
- Carry out other tasks in accordance with M&A processes and reporting related to financial investment and M&A activities.
2) Other Responsibilities(Approx. 20% of time)
Frequency: Weekly / Monthly / Annually
- Contribute to the development of policies, regulations, and management systems (including software-based systems).
- Support other functional tasks assigned by department managers and the CFO to optimize departmental performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor&aposs degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Banking, or Investment.
- Prefer candidates with CFA, CMA, or ACCA (any level).
- Good English communication skills, with a minimum TOEIC score of 700 or equivalent.
Experience:
- Experience in investment, restructuring, M&A, and IPOs.
- Group-level investment management experience is a plus.
- Experience in forecasting and managing investment risks.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of accounting, financial management, and investment management software (e.g., Oracle, ERP, BI, HPM).
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills with investors.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Negotiation and deal-making abilities.
- Capable of working independently and in teams.
