2.Role Description:

TVS Investment Banking partners with companies to raise capital, execute M&A, and solve complex strategic problems. As an AVP, you will be expected to support and lead the execution of M&A, ECM and DCM transactions, contributing to real deal progress while also initiating client-facing engagements and deal origination. We are looking for experienced bankers with 4-7 years of relevant experience who want to grow in a dynamic environment.

3.Key responsibilities:

Transaction Execution

  • Support and manage execution of M&A, equity and debt capital market transactions.
  • Coordinate due diligence, financial analysis, valuation, and transaction structuring.
  • Prepare transaction materials with eloquent equity story including information memoranda, management presentations, financial models, and investment teasers.
  • Liaise with legal advisors, auditors, consultants, and other transaction stakeholders.

Financial Analysis & Valuation

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models.
  • Conduct valuation analyses including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
  • Perform industry and company research to support client advisory and investor discussions.

Client & Investor Management

  • Participate in client meetings and investor discussions.
  • Assist senior bankers in managing relationships with clients and investors.
  • Support the preparation of strategic advisory materials and client presentations.

Project Management

  • Strategize and manage best approach for each deal
  • Coordinate workflow, internal deal teams and manage project timelines.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of all client deliverables.
  • Monitor transaction progress and anticipate potential issues.

Business Development

  • Prepare pitch materials and market updates.
  • Identify potential investors and strategic partners for clients.
  • Support senior bankers in origination activities.

4.Requirements:

  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
  • Ability to focus on results/big pictures while keeping in mind finer details such as numbers, formatting, and logic.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and high pressure, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related fields.
  • MBA, CFA, or other relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance or private equity.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or executing past transactions.
  • A more qualified candidate can be considered for a more senior position.
