About Canopus Advisors
Canopus Advisors is an investment firm focused on early-stage opportunities in technology across emerging Asia. We invest in sectors such as energy, agriculture, and infrastructure, supporting technologies with the potential to address critical economic and environmental challenges in the region.
Our approach combines global perspective with strong local insight to identify and back transformative innovations. We work closely with a network of experienced advisors and ecosystem partners, aiming to support the adoption and scaling of technologies that can deliver both strong returns and meaningful impact.
The Role
This role sits within the investment team, with a primary focus on sourcing, diligence, and investment decision-making. While there will be exposure to portfolio companies, this is not an operating role. The emphasis is on developing strong investment judgment in complex, technology-driven businesses.
We welcome candidates from diverse and non-traditional backgrounds. Experience in engineering, science, startups, business development, or operations is highly valued.
This is a high-ownership role suited for someone who is analytically rigorous, intellectually curious, and comfortable forming independent views in ambiguous early-stage environments.
