I. JOB PURPOSE:
- This job holder is to develop new business and growth opportunities in selling goods in overseas. He serves as intermediaries between foreign buyers and our FESV. This helps manage volumes and margins to generate efficiency for manufacturing and margins for earnings.
- Having knowledge of the details of the international business (specially USA, China, India) to ensure that government policies, export procedures, logistic and payment laws are followed.
II. KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop the targeted foreign market and seek relationship with potential customers in APAC region
- Coordinate with other departments and factory to resolve the requirements of customers.
- Maintain good relations with existing customers and develop new customers to ensure incremental sales by seniority.
- Develop customers according to the company's orientation, long-term strategy and short-term goals when the company has specific requirements.
- Conduct surveys and market research to study and analyze the potential business opportunities.
- Develop plans and strategies by coordinating with the managers to achieve the sales target.
- Ensure that the products are made available to suit the needs of the customer, meet rule and regulation of importing country and adhering to the sales processes designed. •
- Analyze all market intelligence reports and identify all new business opportunities to expand business and maintain an efficient portfolio for same.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing departments to analyze all market activities and manage all communication with technical departments and perform various tests in products and ensure optimal quality of all products and design all export market rules and regulations to mitigate all risks.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with all clients and supervise achievement of all sales targets for all assign areas and analyze all customer requirements to prepare appropriate sales strategies for same.
- Provide training to all staff members and evaluate all sales and service programs and maintain effective relationships with all customers to establish appropriate product requirements.
- Maintain professional relationships with all customers and distributors and ensure satisfaction of consumers with all company products and services.
- Oter tasks are assigned by Superiors related to this role.
III. QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- University graduate or higher majoring in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or related majors.
- Proven experience in international export business, preferably in the same industry (FMCG)
- Thorough knowledge of foreign trade regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent knowledge of market data and dynamics
- Attention to details.
- Ability to travel abroad to meet with clients and develop business relationships.
2. EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years of experience working in a similar position in the field of Business Development, Marketing in the confectionery/ food/ FMCG industry.
- Experienced in below the line and visibility executions
- Experienced in coordinating a working group to implement brand development projects & Marketing activities: communication program (ATL) and brand activation program (BTL), (new product development, research, market research, advertising, promotion, etc.).
3. SKILLSET:
- Strong commercial mindset with proven experience in FMCG / F&B international sales
- Experience managing distributors and overseas markets
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
