Role Description

This position is responsible for strategically guiding and developing direct material suppliers to support production efficiency; ensuring stable and cost-effective material supply for plant operations; and expanding overseas supplier networks aligned with the company's strategic roadmap and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Checking documents (PI, Inv, PL, HBL, etc).
Following up delivery time & contacting suppliers.
Working with forwarder to arrange shipments.
Working closely with accountant and warehouse for ensuring compliance in purchasing process.
In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on purchase orders delivery and shipment schedules.
Placement of orders with vendors, as well as, expediting, deferring and canceling.
Managing negotiation and ordering process for direct materials.
Inputting & managing data of vendors and materials on ERP system.
Generating data report when required.
Checking safety stock levels & work orders on a daily basic to place new orders on time.

Qualifications

Graduation from commercial or economic background.
Having 1 - 2 years experience on purchasing activities or Import-Export.
Good command of English.
Having a good knowledge about ERP system.
Understanding of purchasing principles and international purchasing & commercial process.
