Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Internal Control & Cost Management Assistant to support cost monitoring, compliance checks, and internal control processes across the organization. This role will work closely with Finance, Operations, and management teams to ensure accuracy, policy compliance, and effective cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review payroll details, including timesheets, allowances, and deductions, to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. 
  • Prepare and reconcile software and license expenses based on bank statements and supporting documents. 
  • Verify requests/tickets for compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and payment plans before approval by PIC. 
  • Conduct weekly cash counts with cashiers and report discrepancies if any. 
  • Prepare and collect supporting documents for COO approval/signature. 
  • Support periodic fixed asset inventory checks and audit procedures (every 6 months). 
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in operations, finance, accounting, audit, or internal control. 
  • Experience in a tech company is preferred. 
  • Good understanding of accounting and compliance processes. 
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and financial systems. 
  • Good command of English (written and spoken). 
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or related fields.
  • Personal qualities: Meticulous and detail-oriented, honest with high integrity, responsible, and proactive.
