Role Description
This full-time on-site role, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is for an Intern in Technical Service. Responsibilities include assisting with technical services, providing technical support, and troubleshooting issues. The role involves applying analytical skills to diagnose and solve problems while maintaining clear and effective communication with clients and team members.
Qualifications
- Read and understand technical documents such as TDS/SDS to grasp material properties and safety precautions during use.
- Assist in weighing and handling materials according to the correct ratios and dispersion sequence.
- Prepare and formulate paint samples based on given formulations.
- Conduct basic testing of paint properties (e.g., viscosity, coverage, adhesion, etc.) and monitor stability over time (e.g., settling, phase separation).
- Record changes in color, viscosity, odor, and any abnormal phenomena.
- Document, store, and track experimental samples in accordance with procedures.
- Manage samples and test data systematically, ensuring accuracy and easy traceability.
- Support general R&D activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Final-year students or fresh graduates majoring in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields.
- Available to work full-time (Monday to Friday).
- Basic ability to read and understand technical documents in English.
- Careful, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Strong awareness of laboratory safety regulations.
- Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment is an advantage.
