We are looking for a QA Intern to join our AI development team with a focus on mobile application testing. You will help validate the quality of AI-powered mobile features, ensuring a seamless and reliable user experience. This role blends AI model validation, data analysis, and mobile QA, offering you hands-on experience in testing intelligent systems used in real-world applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Test and validate AI-powered features integrated into Android/iOS mobile apps (e.g., chatbots, recommendation systems, camera-based AI tools).
• Design and execute test cases across multiple devices and OS versions.
• Evaluate AI model outputs in mobile environments for accuracy, bias, and latency.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing of mobile app functionalities.
• Identify and document bugs, performance issues, and UX inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and AI engineers to define and refine QA processes.
• Use tools like Android Studio, Xcode, or emulators for app testing.
• Assist in automating test flows where applicable.
  
  

Requirements

Must have:

• 3rd or 4th-year student, or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with mobile platforms (Android and/or iOS).
• Basic scripting or coding knowledge (preferably Python).
• Interest in AI/ML concepts and applications.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with mobile testing tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Postman, or Firebase tools.
• Exposure to AI platforms like TensorFlow Lite, Core ML, or on-device AI SDKs.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile testing.
• Data processing skills using Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, etc.).
• Experience analyzing AI model outputs, logs, or performance metrics (Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1-Score, etc.).
• Ability to create simple dashboards or reports to track bugs, model accuracy, or app usage.
• Familiarity with tools like Excel, SQL, or Jupyter Notebooks for exploratory data work.
