Interior Module Lead Engineer

Position Context

• Participate to the creation of the VINFAST Vehicle institute, specifically the Interior engineering department
  
• Strong focus on mid to long term business and product plans
  
• Work in a Start-up environment at quick pace with quick turnaround and decisions
  

Position Responsibilities:

• Working in a team environment and possibly with external contractors and suppliers to design or modify vehicle parts
  
• Provide technical guidance to top management for strategic decisions
  
• Report to top management
  
• Implement best practice engineering methods
  
• Oversee day to day business activities
  
• Conduct performance reviews
  
  

Position Requirements

• 7+ years experience in automotive or related industries.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering).
  
• Demonstrated agility in operating within matrixed organizations and teams.
  
• High proficiency in written and spoken English.
  
• Highly organized
  
• Effective communicator and able to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams from different areas of the company and with the key supplier.
  
• Motivational skills
  
• In-depth knowledge in Interior engineering
  
• Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to perform successfully in multi-national relationships.
  
• Demonstrate a high degree of resilience and ability to deal with high pressure situations using a logical data driven approach.
  
• Be accountable for delivery and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
