Interactive Ad Developer

2. About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front-End Developer specializing in creating cutting-edge, high-performance interactive advertising formats. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to take ownership of the technical development, implementation, and optimization of complex ad units.
You will be the technical lead for building formats like playable ads, rich media, and conversational ad experiences, ensuring flawless execution on platforms like Cavai. This role requires translating creative designs into robust, production-ready code that delivers measurable outcomes for global brands.
3. Key Responsibilities
Interactive Ad Development & Engineering
- Develop and engineer cross-browser compatible interactive ad units, including playable ads, rich media, and mini-game mechanics.
- Write clean, well-documented, and scalable code (HTML5, CSS3, ES6+) to achieve pixel-perfect fidelity and optimal file size/load times.
- Implement custom tracking events and collaborate with Ad Operations teams on technical specifications and trafficking.
Interactive Platform Ownership (Cavai)
- Act as the technical owner for end-to-end development and implementation of interactive creatives on the Cavai platform.
- Develop and maintain a library of reusable, high-efficiency ad templates and scalable creative frameworks.
- Continuously optimize creative performance and platform capability through rigorous testing and industry best practices.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support for creative execution issues.
Technical QA & Process Improvement
- Conduct comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) across various devices, browsers, and ad environments to ensure technical quality and consistency.
- Focus intensely on performance optimization (latency, file size, CPU usage) to meet strict ad industry standards.
- Take ownership of projects from concept through technical execution and delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve creative production workflows and template systems.
4. Profile We Are Looking For
Must Have
- 2-3+ years of experience in Front-End Development, specializing in performance-critical environments like ad tech or gaming.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, with proven experience building complex, high-performance interactions.
- Deep, hands-on experience developing and implementing creative assets directly on interactive advertising platforms like Cavai.
- Proven ability to build and optimize playable ads, rich media, and interactive campaign experiences for mobile environments.
- Strong understanding of UX principles as they relate to technical implementation and interaction logic.
- Strong communication skills and English proficiency.
- Experience with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Rollup) for code optimization and deployment.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and agile environment.
- Experience with WebGL or 3D development for gaming environments.
- Understanding of digital advertising ecosystems (Programmatic, SSP, Media buying) from a technical integration perspective.
