Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Integrity Engineer position located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for our client. The Integrity Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing the Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) for offshore facilities, planning and coordinating inspection activities, and reviewing inspection findings to ensure compliance with company and international standards.

The role includes performing Fitness-for-Service (FFS), remaining life assessments, risk-based evaluations, and analyzing inspection data to support equipment integrity and reliability. The Integrity Engineer will also manage anomalies, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure investigations, and provide technical recommendations related to corrosion management, NDT techniques, and inspection methodologies.

In addition, the position will supervise inspection teams, contractors, and vendors, maintain integrity databases and periodic reports, and support budgeting, cost control, and contractor performance evaluations. Close collaboration with operations, maintenance, and HSE teams is essential to ensure safe and efficient offshore operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Corrosion Engineering, Metallurgy, or related disciplines
  • 3–5 years of experience in Integrity Management, Inspection, or Asset Integrity within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Strong knowledge of RBI, NDT methods, API 579 (FFS), corrosion mechanisms, and pressure equipment codes/standards
  • Familiarity with Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS) and integrity databases
  • Experience in inspection planning, anomaly management, and failure investigation processes
  • Good understanding of HSE requirements, international standards, and offshore operational practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • API certifications or other inspection-related certifications are preferred
  • Experience working with offshore facilities, inspection contractors, and technical service providers is an advantage
