As we expand our portfolio of reports, indexes, sector insights, and client-commissioned studies, we are building a more structured and scalable content ecosystem. To support this next phase, we are hiring an Insights Editor to professionalise, curate, and elevate all of our thought-leadership outputs.

The Role

The Insights Editor turns research, interviews, data, and sector knowledge into polished, impactful content. You will oversee the production and editing of reports, articles, briefs, summaries, and client deliverables, ensuring clarity, quality, and consistency across everything we publish.

This is not a traditional writing role. It is an editorial producer role that uses AI prompting, templates, structured workflows, and content curation to help Decision Lab scale its insights effectively and efficiently.

You will work closely with sector teams (Finance, Education, Experience Economy, Insight Velocity) and with clients who commission thought-leadership projects.

What you will do

1. Elevate and professionalise our insight content

Generate, refine raw findings into strategically aligned outputs (reports, articles, briefs, presentations) that reflect industry-level quality and executive expectations;

Strengthen narrative logic, clarity, and the so what of each piece;

Translate complex research and datasets into accessible business stories;

Maintain a consistent editorial tone and high publishing standards.

2. Curate Decision Lab's growing knowledge base

Build and maintain a structured library of all reports, indexes, briefs, and articles;

Create thematic groupings and collections that make our insights easier to navigate;

Improve discoverability, coherence, and quality across the content ecosystem.

3. Support sector teams & client-commissioned thought leadership

Work with Practice Leads to identify strong storylines and editorial angles;

Produce high-quality content packages for clients, including whitepapers, market studies, and industry reports;

Ensure client deliverables meet a professional editorial standard and are ready for publication or distribution;

Assist with storyline development, data narratives, and insight summaries.

4. Use AI to enhance quality, speed, and consistency

Develop structured prompts for reports, articles, briefs, and social posts;

Build and maintain templates and AI-assisted workflows;

Train team members in effective prompting and AI-supported content creation;

Apply rigorous quality control to ensure accuracy and prevent misinterpretation.

5. Strengthen Decision Lab's influence and visibility

Support PR and media initiatives with clear, press-ready narratives;

Collaborate with designers on charts, layouts, and visuals to improve readability and impact;

Contribute content for webinars, events, and podcasts including summaries, scripts, talking points, and highlight packs;

Support marketing campaigns designed to generate inbound interest from business leaders and investors.

What You Bring

6 - 10 years of experience in content editing, data journalism, business communication, B2B content, or insights/research roles;

Strong ability to turn data and research into clear, compelling narratives;

Excellent written English (British style preferred);

Practical experience using AI tools for drafting, editing, analysis, and workflow optimisation;

Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage deadlines;

Curiosity about business, consumer behaviour, and Vietnam's economic landscape;

Nice to have

Experience producing or supporting podcasts or video content;

Basic data visualisation or charting skills;

Knowledge of Vietnam's finance, education, consumer, or tourism sectors.
