JOB PURPOSE
The Infra Manager leads the strategic planning, development, and management of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role ensures infrastructure scalability, efficiency, and alignment with strategic goals. Responsibilities include guiding the technology operations team, overseeing infrastructure projects, managing daily IT operations, and ensuring security and compliance. The Infra Manager also handles vendor relationships, budget management, and drives continuous improvement and innovation within the IT infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Infrastructure Planning
- Create and execute strategies to improve IT infrastructure.
- Ensure infrastructure projects align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Manage infrastructure architecture for scalability and efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development
- Provide leadership and guidance to the technology operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop technical talent, building a high-performing team capable of meeting the organization's technology needs.
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members and provide regular performance evaluations. Ensuring that the team consistently meets performance objectives.
Project and Task Management
- Manage infrastructure projects from start to finish.
- Ensure timely, within scope, and budget-compliant project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional department and Business to meet project goals.
IT Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations to ensure stability and efficiency.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and secure platforms.
- Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all platform services.
- Manage incident and problem resolution processes to maintain high uptime and availability of all systems to maintain business continuity.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Champion DevOps principles to increase the ability to deliver applications and services at high velocity, enhance reliability, and streamline workflows.
- Manage the server room, ensuring the health and maintenance of network devices and servers.
- Oversee all hardware, software, licenses, subscriptions, and related assets.
Security and Compliance
- Ensure the security of IT infrastructure and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure third-party solutions meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business goals.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.

Budget Management
- Prepare and manage the budget for IT infrastructure expenditures.
- Optimize resource use and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Capable of estimating infrastructure costs to support accurate project budgeting.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends.
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve IT infrastructure performance.
- Promote and implement innovative solutions to business challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Min 5 years experience in IT infrastructure management, with a proven track record in leading teams and managing large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of networks, servers, storage, virtualization, and cybersecurity technologies and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD methodologies, and automation tools (e.g., Gitlab, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes).
- Extensive experience with cloud technologies and services (AWS, M365, SaaS).
- Practical experience with ITIL management principles or Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ISO27001 standards.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
- Proficiency in disaster recovery planning and business continuity management.
- Leadership experience, especially in mentoring and guiding less-experienced team members. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects involving cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and driving change.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written form.
