Infrastructure Engineering Lead

This investment will scale Vault's SECRET Cloud and introduce new services such as the AUKUS cloud capability, directly addressing Australia's strategic national security demands. We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineering Lead to guide a team of Engineers interfacing with Product, Portfolio, and Operations teams where your contributions have a direct impact on the security and technological advancement of Vault Cloud's offerings.This is a remote role and is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of developing and integrating cutting-edge cloud products that protect some of Australia's most critical data.

You will be responsible for:

• You will orchestrate the growth and refinement of our cloud infrastructure, leveraging the versatility of Kubernetes to drive scalability and resilience.
• Mentoring engineers and interfacing effectively with product, portfolio, and operations teams.
• Assist in developing and managing the Vault SDLC including the tooling, processes and languages required to support DevOps practices.

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate with:

• At least 7- 8 years of experience leading teams to design and deploy cloud solutions leveraging OpenStack & Ceph
• OpenStack Expertise: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with OpenStack components (Nova, Cinder, Glance, Keystone, Neutron) are critical for this role, as it is the primary platform the candidate will be working with.
• Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proven track record of successfully leading technical teams and projects, are essential.
• Technical Specialisation: Expertise in the following specialised areas is crucial: storage solutions (especially Ceph), OpenStack deployment and management.
