SCOPE OF WORK
Manage end-to-end software development projects from initiation through delivery and post-implementation support. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor progress and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead end-to-end delivery of software development projects
- Manage project scope, timelines, budget, and resources
- Drive Agile/Scrum/Waterfall project execution
- Integrate Secure SDLC practices across all phases
- Coordinate with engineering, QA, security, and DevOps teams
- Ensure compliance with OWASP, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2 standards
- Oversee threat modeling, secure design, and code reviews
- Track and remediate vulnerabilities (SAST, DAST, SCA)
- Maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and security risks
- Manage stakeholders and communicate project progress
- Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and review sessions
- Ensure software quality, testing, and release governance
- Monitor KPIs: delivery, quality, and security metrics
- Drive DevSecOps adoption and automation practices
- Manage vendors and third-party software deliverables
- Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness
- Resolve issues and escalate critical risks proactively
- Continuously improving SDLC and delivery processes
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions
- Plan and execute enterprise system upgrades and patches
- Manage application version upgrades and compatibility testing
- Coordinate downtime, releases, and rollback strategies
- Ensure minimal disruption during upgrade cycles
- Track upgrade risks, dependencies, and post-implementation validation
- Support IT HOD in overall project tracking and deliverables.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- PMP or similar certifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management or Software Delivery
- Proven experience managing software development projects (web, mobile, or enterprise systems)
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, Secure SDLC, and DevSecOps practices
- Strong understanding of application security fundamentals
- Experience with project management tools and executive stakeholder engagement
