Job Summary
The IT Manager is responsible for leading IT Operations and End User Services, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT services across the organization. The role also oversees Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Privacy Management, and the implementation and continuous improvement of the ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Operations & Help Desk Management
- Lead and manage the IT Help Desk team to deliver high-quality end-user support.
- Establish and monitor IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident, Request, Problem, Asset, and Change Management.
- Define and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key service performance metrics.
- Manage user onboarding/offboarding, endpoint lifecycle, software deployment, and hardware inventory.
- Ensure availability of end-user computing, network connectivity, meeting rooms, printers, and collaboration platforms.
- Manage IT vendors, maintenance contracts, software licenses, and IT assets.
- Drive service improvement initiatives and user satisfaction.
2. Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with ISO/IEC 27001.
- Own information security policies, standards, procedures, and governance framework.
- Conduct information security risk assessments and maintain the risk register.
- Coordinate internal and external ISO/IEC 27001 audits and ensure timely remediation of findings.
- Manage security awareness and training programs.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and customer security requirements.
- Support third-party security assessments, due diligence, and vendor risk management.
- Coordinate incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Prepare security governance reports and dashboards for management.
3. Privacy Management
- Develop and maintain privacy policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable privacy and personal data protection regulations.
- Support privacy impact assessments and data classification activities.
- Collaborate with Legal, HR, and Business teams on privacy-related initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or related disciplines.
- 7+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Operations, or IT Support.
- At least 3 years in an IT Manager or IT Help Desk Manager leadership role.
- Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS.
- Strong understanding of ITSM best practices (ITIL preferred).
- Experience managing Microsoft 365, Windows environments, endpoint management, identity and access management, networking fundamentals, and enterprise collaboration tools.
- Experience working with security audits, risk management, and compliance programs.
- Experience in banking, fintech, or regulated industries is highly preferred.
Preferred Certifications
- ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor.
- ITIL Foundation or higher.
- CISSP, CISM, CRISC, Security+, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
- Microsoft or cloud platform certifications are a plus.
