Job Summary
Industrial Engineer Intern will support the Industrial Engineering Department in designing and implementing production and service delivery systems that assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence and cost control within the production site.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow
- Recommends methods for maximum utilization of production equipment and personnel
- Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor
Job Qualifications & Knowledge Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial System Engineering or Industrial Management (3rd or 4th year).
- Able to implement continuous improvements and cost reduction programs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
