Work Location: Linh Trung Export Processing Zone 2, Thu Duc, HCMC
Working Hours: Monday Saturday | 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Salary: 22 ml -35ml based on qualifications and experience
JOB PURPOSE:
To ensure accurate data on time, productivity, and machine performance in order to improve production processes, support accurate production planning, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Time Studies:
- Measure actual processing time for each stage (cutting, sanding, finishing, etc.).
- Establish standard time per process and per product.
- Provide time data for production planning and labor productivity analysis.
2. Machine Capacity Calculation:
- Calculate output capacity per shift/day for each machine or production line.
- Include both machine capability and manpower availability in capacity calculations.
- Identify bottlenecks related to equipment, labor, or layout.
3. Yield Estimation:
- Monitor material usage vs. usable output (e.g., raw board input vs. finished parts).
- Define standard yield rate per process/product.
- Support waste reduction initiatives by identifying high-loss areas.
4. Process Mapping:
- Create flowcharts outlining the full production process of each product.
- Identify non-value-added steps, delays, or unnecessary handling.
- Propose improvements in layout and task arrangement to streamline production.
5. Production Master Data Setup:
- Develop and maintain a master data file including:
- Standard time per process
- Machine capacity
- Yield rate by product
- Support the Planning team in applying this data for accurate scheduling and forecasting.
6. SOP Development Support:
- Collaborate with supervisors to define and document standard work procedures.
- Draft clear, simple SOPs to reduce errors, minimize rework, and ensure product consistency.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment (must have experience in wood, furniture).
- Knowledge of industrial tools and methodologies such as time study, layout analysis, process mapping, lean manufacturing.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (strong Excel skills; VBA or Power BI is a plus).
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills (Production, QA, Planning).
- Practical, proactive, and improvement-driven mindset.
