Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Industrial Engineer Officer at Renaissance Fashion & Clothing Co., Ltd located in Long Giang Industrial Zone, Tn Lp 1, Tn Phc, Tin Giang province.
The Industrial Engineer Officer will be responsible for:
Collects and analyzes work sampling, time study and equipment delay data and draws conclusions about utilization and efficiency.
- Prepare factory/ floor layout for minimal transportation to ensure effective utilisation of men, machines, and material.
- Solve the problem of bottleneck, doing line balancing.
- Prepare skill inventory of operator in a factory.
- Make a workforce recruitment plan in coordination with the HR team.
- Check the production report of cutting, sewing, finishing, also check absenteeism, cutting balance, loss time monitoring report, cut plan rejection report, efficiency and compliance report on the progress of work and problems occurring in production.
- Performs ergonomic assessments of operator workstations.
- Confers with clients management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.
- Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchasing of equipment.
Qualifications
- Analytical Skills and Industrial Engineering expertise
- Strong Communication skills
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering and Process Improvement
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of Lean principles and Six Sigma methodology
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Minimum one year experience in the textile or fashion industry.
- General English skill
