Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Send arrival notices to the correct parties.
  • Check and input free time correctly into the internal system.
  • Reconcile manifested & local charges to ensure all charges are input correctly as per tariff and contract agreement.
  • Handle client requests on late manifest and bill amendments.
  • Coordinate with oversea agencies to resolve any rate or charge or free time disputes.
  • Handle client daily enquiries related to inbound shipments via email and phone.
  • Handle periodic reports and other assignments from the Line Manager.

KEY EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1 year of experience in similar position, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry.
  • Experience in using Customs E-manifest system.

KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:

  • Good in English, both written and spoken.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented
