Principle Accountabilities
- Ensure accurate understanding and application of export procedures and customs systems (preferably in the garment industry)
- Prepare, check, and manage all required shipping documents for export activities (invoice, packing list, BL, CO, etc.)
- Coordinate with customs officers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery
- Follow up on customs clearance procedures and resolve any related issues.
- Monitor and control costs related to freight, import duties, and taxes
- Maintain accurate filing and documentation for customs audits and internal reviews including annual custom report
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations, FTAs, and internal company policies
- Support logistics and warehouse teams in planning inbound and outbound shipments
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by head of department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or College degree in Foreign Trade, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in import-export or logistics (garment industry experience preferred).
- Good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiar with customs procedures, import/export documentation especially export, and Incoterms.
