About the role:
IIoT Solution Engineer is responsible for planning, organizing, identifying technical risk, and providing pre-sales support and project engineering to SEA regional sales. This includes solutioning, site integration, and ensuring seamless connectivity between on-premises data sources, edge gateways, and the cloud.
This role requires a strong balance of data integration expertise and industrial solution experience, with hands-on involvement in OT and IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop IIoT solution material and propose integration recommendations
- Develop solution for OT/IT data integration. Integration between Edge Gateway and on-premises server or Cloud (bi-directional).
- Conduct evaluation/site survey and testing with users for the data integration and demonstration. This will include site study, front-end engineering design, implementation, and maintenance/services with the remote support from Product Team
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate IIoT solutions with CMMS, Energy Management, OEE monitoring, and Vibration Analysis systems.
- Configure and maintain VMware, Windows Server, or virtualized infrastructure.
- Support on technical/solution pre-sales, design innovation and realization plan include coordination with customer
- Prepare technical presentation for the recommended solution to customer and Yokogawa Business Development Manager
Requirements:
Essential Skills
- From 3 years of experience with related positions.
- Strong Communication and Presentation skills
- Hands-on complex data integration from various OEM Equipment. This includes OT protocols such as serial, ASCII, RS485/RS232, Modbus, Profibus, telnet, ethernet, TCP/IP, etc.
- Hands-on with LoraWan, MQTT, REST
- Networking: L3/L4 OT network structure and connectivity with Cloud, including the security measures, e.g, DMZ, firewall
- Hands-on SCADA, Kepware, OSI PI System
- Familiar with various IoT gateways, Industrial PC
- Exposure to CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), Energy Management, OEE, or Condition Monitoring solutions is highly advantageous.
- Experience with vibration analysis systems or predictive maintenance platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge in Windows Server, Linux, VMware, or other virtualization environments is an advantage.
