1. General Information
- Department: Human Resources & Administration
- Reports to: BOD
- Work Location: Linh Trung 2 Export Processing Zone
- Company Size: 500 employees
2. Job Purpose
Responsible for overseeing all Human Resources and Administration functions of the wood manufacturing factory, ensuring effective HR operations, compliance with labor laws, supporting production activities, and maintaining a safe and stable working environment.
Manage and oversee the following functions:
- Recruitment
- Compensation & Benefits (C&B)
- Employee Relations
- Training & Development
- Administration
- HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)
- Factory Medical Services
The position will also work directly with government authorities and provide strategic HR consultation to the Board of Directors.
3. Key Responsibilities
3.1. Human Resources Management
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's production and business objectives.
- Lead and manage all HR & Administration operations within the factory.
- Build organizational structures, manpower planning, and recruitment plans for the factory.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and employee development processes.
- Develop and improve labor regulations, HR policies, and company procedures.
- Ensure all employee records and HR documentation comply with legal requirements.
3.2. Compensation & Benefits and Employee Relations
- Manage payroll, compensation, benefits, attendance, and salary administration.
- Control overtime, shift arrangements, and labor costs in alignment with production operations.
- Handle employee relations matters, disciplinary actions, and labor disputes.
- Represent the company in working with the Trade Union (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with Labor Law, Social Insurance regulations, occupational health & safety regulations, and related legal requirements.
3.3. HSE & Factory Medical Management
- Oversee HSE, occupational safety, fire prevention, and environmental activities within the factory.
- Coordinate and implement workplace safety programs for production operations.
- Manage factory medical staff and employee healthcare activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards in the wood manufacturing environment.
3.4. Government & Authority Relations
- Represent the company in working with:
- Export Processing Zone Management Board
- Department of Labor
- Social Insurance Authorities
- Trade Union
- Fire Prevention & Fighting Authorities
- Environmental Authorities
- Labor Inspectors
- Other related government agencies
- Prepare legal documents, reports, and coordinate government audits and inspections.
3.5. Reporting & Strategic HR Advisory
- Report HR performance, workforce changes, labor costs, and related matters to the BOD.
- Advise management on HR strategies, organizational development, and company culture.
- Propose solutions to improve labor productivity and workforce stability.
4. Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Law Or related fields
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HR Manager or HRBP Manager roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Mandatory experience in manufacturing factories, preferably in: Wood manufacturing, Furniture, Mechanical/Industrial manufacturing, General manufacturing industries
- Preferred candidates with experience in Factories with 300–500+ employees, companies located in Export Processing Zones (EPZ) or Industrial Parks
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of: Vietnam Labor Law, social Insurance regulations, occupational Health & Safety regulations
- Employee Relations
- Experienced in working with government authorities.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under pressure in a manufacturing environment.
