Job Description

The HR Manager plays a role in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives for FMCG business. This position supports organizational growth, oversees talent management and employee engagement while ensuring HR policies and practices enhance overall business performance.

I. Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to Thai Kien leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business goals.
  • Lead HR reports in the monthly business review (MBR), ensuring HR metrics are aligned with key business performance indicators
  • Provide insights on workforce planning, talent pipeline, and succession planning to support business growth.
  • Lead change management and HR transformation initiatives to support business growth.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Oversee recruitment and selection to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent.
  • Ensure Mission Critical Roles (MCRs) are filled with the right talent at the right time to drive business success.
  • Lead workforce planning and labor cost forecasting in alignment with the business plans

Performance Management & Talent Development:

  • Implement and enhance performance management frameworks, ensuring goal alignment & continuous feedback.
  • Lead quarterly Talent Reviews, identify HiPo employees and career development pathways
  • Work with Corporate L&D teams to design training programs tailored to the evolving needs of the BU.

Employee Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure HR policies, labor law compliance, and company procedures are adhered to within the BU
  • Oversee C&B programs, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity
  • Act as the key contact for employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent HR practices.
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution effectively.

Employee Engagement & Organizational Culture

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with company values.
  • Drive employee engagement programs, monitor feedback, and implement improvement actions.
  • Ensure a positive employee experience and workplace satisfaction.

II. Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HRM, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Training/License/ Certification: HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CIPD or equivalent) are preferred.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the Sales/ FMCG industry.

Work-related skills:

  • Experience in implementing strategic HR initiatives, and fostering a high-performance work culture.
  • Hands-on experience in managing disciplinary actions, handling employee grievances, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Ability to partner with senior leadership, influence decision-making, and align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage HR data and metrics for decision-making and continuous improvement.

Soft skills:

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently under high pressure and tight deadlines.
