We are seeking a strategic HR Director to lead people strategy and organizational effectiveness for a growing technology and operations hub in Vietnam supporting global business operations.
This is a senior leadership role with broad mandate and high visibility.
HR Director will act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, shaping workforce strategy, building scalable HR infrastructure, and driving a high-performance culture in a dynamic multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
- Partner with business leaders to translate growth objectives into workforce and talent strategies
- Drive productivity, performance management, and engagement aligned with business goals
- Strengthen leadership capability across technical and functional teams
- Lead workforce planning and succession strategy to support expansion
Organizational & Culture Development
- Design and implement performance management frameworks
- Build a strong employer brand within Vietnam's competitive tech talent market
- Lead employee engagement, culture initiatives, and leadership development programs
- Foster a results-driven, accountable, and collaborative culture
HR Infrastructure & System Build
- Establish and optimize HR policies, governance, and scalable systems
- Design competitive compensation and total rewards frameworks
- Develop data-driven HR metrics and analytics to support decision-making
- Ensure full compliance with Vietnam labor law and minimize risk exposure
Talent Acquisition & Retention
- Build robust recruitment channels for technology and specialized roles
- Develop retention strategies for high-performing talent
- Conduct workforce analysis and exit insights to strengthen talent stability
Site Operational Leadership
- Oversee HR operations and site management support
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to align local execution with broader strategy
- Support cross-functional initiatives to ensure smooth business operations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in senior HR leadership
- Proven experience building tech hubs, R&D centers in multinational environments
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Deep understanding of Vietnam labor law and local talent market dynamics
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English.
- Agile, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in fast-paced growth environments.
