The Opportunity

My client, a globally renowned engineering, design, and consulting firm, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and drive strategic and operational HR initiatives across the region. This role will partner closely with business leaders to support organizational growth, strengthen people capabilities, and foster a high-performance and inclusive culture.

About the Role

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to business leaders, providing strategic guidance and practical solutions on people-related matters across the region.
  • Lead the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning and development, and workforce planning.
  • Partner with leaders to translate business priorities into effective people strategies, ensuring alignment between organizational objectives and talent needs.
  • Manage employee relations and performance matters, providing sound advice while ensuring compliance with company policies and local employment legislation.
  • Drive and support annual HR cycles, including performance reviews, succession planning, salary reviews, promotions, employee engagement initiatives, and talent development programs.
  • Collaborate with regional and global Centres of Excellence (COEs) to implement HR initiatives and best practices while ensuring local business requirements are effectively addressed.
  • Lead change management and organizational development initiatives to support business transformation, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal governance requirements across relevant markets.
  • Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to provide insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
  • Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity & inclusion, and a positive workplace culture.

The Successful Candidate

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 8–12 years of progressive HR Business Partnering or HR Generalist experience, preferably within engineering, professional services, consulting, infrastructure, construction, or related industries.
  • Proven experience supporting senior stakeholders and partnering with business leaders in a matrix and multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, talent management, and employment legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience driving organizational change, leadership coaching, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
  • High level of professionalism, cultural awareness, discretion, and sound judgment.
