Senior Operation Manager
Missions :
Working with the Management Team & the functional teams and all functions of the Wahl VN factory, Environmental Health and Safety supervisor is a resource dedicated to reducing injuries, accidents and environmental impact and ensuring compliance. This is to be achieved by providing high-quality training, comprehensive workplace evaluation, emergency response, hazardous materials management from acquisition to disposal and by managing regulatory information
Responsibilities:
- Create the safety & environmental rules and implement them over the plant. Ensure people engagement in all HSE activities.
- In charge of keeping healthy work environment and the occupation health of the operators.
- Follow the HSE rules and the inspection of relative BUREAU / C-TPAT or any related standards organization/
- Analysis of HSE impacts by evaluating appropriate Risk Assessment & Risk Prediction for the workplaces and work continuously to reduce / eliminate them.
- Improve HSE conditions & Ensure meeting or exceeding the law compliance of plant and for external service suppliers.
- Identification and elimination of Unsafe Act (UA), Unsafe Conditions (UC) and Near Misses (NM) in the plant to ensure Zero First Aid or any accidents.
- Collaborate with all functions to plan & provide appropriate training to ensure rules awareness for all employees.
- Share, learn & implement in Wahl VN, best practices from other group factories
Qualifications:
- More than 4 years experience as HSE responsible.
- Bachelor's degree from official college (4 or 5 years full time).
- Mastery of HSE concepts, rules and regulations.
- Awareness & working experience of ISO 14001 and 18001 standards.
- Have experience about Safety and Environment regulation.
- Effective communication and organizational skills, as well as considerable initiative and judgment.
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Basic analytical skills.
- Leadership and problem-solving attitude.
- Service oriented and high sense of responsibilities.
- Multi-task management ability be able to manage projects and work well under tight deadlines.
- Excellent PC skills, analytical, process and quantitative skills.
- Bi-lingual with good reading, writing & negotiation skills in English & Vietnamese
