The Opportunity
Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking a motivated HR Intern to support various Human Resources functions. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in a global technology company, contributing to a positive and efficient employee experience.
How You'll Make An Impact
- You will assist the HR team with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation, support recruitment activities such as posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- You will contribute to the onboarding process for new employees, preparing materials and assisting with initial paperwork.
- You will support maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality, assist in organizing and coordinating HR-related events, training sessions, or employee engagement initiatives.
- You will conduct basic research on HR best practices, industry trends, and compliance requirements, provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity, proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, previous internship or relevant work experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
