RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Compensation, Benefits & Compliance (Main Focus)

  • Administer and manage C&B programs, including salary structures, allowances, statutory benefits, social insurance, PIT and related declarations.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Vietnamese labor laws, tax regulations and social insurance requirements; monitor legislative changes and advise management accordingly.
  • Prepare, review and manage employment contracts, contract amendments, internal labor regulations and HR-related legal documentation.
  • Coordinate with payroll and accounting to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Support labor inspections, audits and compliance reviews when required.

2.Recruitment Coordination

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities for local hires and internal transfers, including agents coordination, job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer preparation and onboarding. Support workforce planning and hiring timelines in line with business needs during the Vietnam office setup and growth phase.
  • Prepare onboarding documentation and support new joiners through their initial employment period.
  • Assist in establishing core HR processes, templates and documentation for the Vietnam office.

3.HR Operations & Employee Relations

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date and confidential employee records.
  • Act as a key point of contact for employee enquiries related to contracts, payroll and HR policies.
  • Support managers in handling employee relations matters in line with company policies and legal requirements.

4.Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Prepare HR updates and reports on recruitment progress, headcount, and compliance for Vietnam management and Australian executive stakeholders.
  • Liaise with external service providers such as recruitment agencies, payroll vendors, legal advisors and insurance partners.
  • Support broader operational and administrative activities with a people-focused lens.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • 34 years of experience in an HR Executive or HR Generalist role, with strong hands-on exposure to Compensation & Benefits and labour law compliance.
  • Proven experience handling payroll, social insurance, PIT, and employment contracts.
  • Experience supporting labor inspections, audits, or compliance reviews is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, logistics, or international business environments is preferred.

Skills & Capability

  • Strong attention to detail with solid knowledge of C&B, Vietnamese labour law, social insurance, and PIT.
  • Professional communicator, comfortable working with local and international stakeholders.
  • Well-organized, reliable, and solution-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities independently and within a cross-border team.
