Role Description The HR & Admin Manager/Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role oversees the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, and HR policy development. The position also leads administrative operations such as office management, vendor coordination, facilities support, and compliance with local labor and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing HR records, guiding managers on people-related matters, resolving employee issues, organizing training and development activities, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting. The HR & Admin Manager/Director partners with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, supports organizational culture initiatives, and drives continuous improvements in HR and administrative processes.
Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
  • Experience in administration and office management, including facilities coordination, vendor management, and documentation control.
  • Solid understanding of Vietnamese labor laws, regulatory compliance, and HR best practices in Ho Chi Minh City and broader Vietnam.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and processes that support organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills, including mentoring, coaching, and guiding HR and admin staff.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and capacity to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with HRIS or HR management software and common office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or equivalent).
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced HR certifications are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in an HR Manager or Director-level role, preferably within recruitment, professional services, or fast-paced environments.
