We are looking for Senior Manager, Software Engineering for both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh to drive the delivery of AI and data-driven products in banking and finance within a complex enterprise environment. 1. RESPONSIBILITY
- Technical Leadership: Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems and services. Drive technical discussions and make critical architecture and technology decisions.
- System Architecture: Define and maintain system architecture, coding standards, and best practices to ensure long-term maintainability.
- Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Data teams, and DevOps to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that meet business needs.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure high code quality across the engineering team.
- Mentorship: Mentor and guide engineers to improve their technical skills, career growth, and adherence to engineering practices.
- Execution: Break down complex product requirements into detailed technical designs and actionable implementation tasks.
- Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and system reliability risks.
- Operations: Ensure system observability through proper logging, monitoring, and alerting. Support incident investigation and production troubleshooting when needed.
2. REQUIREMENT
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Backend Mastery: Strong experience in backend development using Java or C/C++.
- Architecture: Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- APIs: Experience with RESTful APIs or gRPC service design.
- Data Management: Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and experience with message queues/streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Infrastructure: Familiar with containerization and cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Core Skills: Proven experience in code reviews, system design, performance optimization, and debugging complex systems.
Nice to have
- Experience building data platforms or large-scale data pipelines.
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or LLM systems.
- Experience designing high-throughput APIs or real-time systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in high-growth startups or large distributed teams.
