Job Purpose
This position is responsible for monitoring and improving the overall performance of the Health business by tracking key metrics, generating actionable insights, and partnering with internal stakeholders and external providers to deliver better cost outcomes, service quality, utilization control, and turnaround time (TAT). The role will also lead provider performance reviews and drive performance improvement plans (PIPs) to ensure providers meet contractual and operational expectations.

Job Responsibilities

Health Business Performance Monitoring

  • Review health business performance against defined KPIs across key dimensions and collaborate with other stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and drive targeted initiatives to enhance overall performance
  • Identify performance risks, root causes, and trends translate findings into actionable recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Distributions, Claims Ops, Provider Management, Underwriting, Product, Actuarial, Finance, Customer Service, IT/Data) to align performance objectives and execute improvement initiatives.
  • Support strategic reviews such as business health checks, portfolio reviews, provider strategy discussions, and performance deep-dives.

Provider Performance Management

  • Monitor provider performance across cost, quality of services, direct billing utilization and SLA
  • Build and manage a provider scorecard framework and performance benchmarking (by provider tier/cluster, specialty, case type) per provider network strategy.
  • Lead periodic provider reviews (monthly/quarterly) including agenda preparation, data packs, meeting facilitation, minutes, and follow-up action tracking.
  • Initiate and manage providers performance improvement actions:

Define performance gaps and improvement targets Develop improvement plans jointly with providers and internal stakeholders Track execution, measure outcomes, and escalate issues where needed Coordinate investigations of performance anomalies (e.g., unusual cost spikes, high utilization patterns, repeated TAT breaches) and recommend mitigation actions. Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Act as a key interface between internal teams and providers for performance discussions.
  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership in a concise, decision-ready format.
  • Ensure alignment of initiatives to business objectives and support change management for performance improvement programs.

Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager or Leadership team to support the overall goals of the organization.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • 6-8 years of experience in life/non-life insurance, provider management, healthcare analytics, or performance management.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare products, claims dynamics, and provider operations.
  • Proven track record in performance analytics, stakeholder management, and driving improvement initiatives.

Knowledge and skill

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Performance management & KPI design expertise
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to translate insights into actions and business impact
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
