OBJECTIVES
- Lead Treasury transformation with modern tools, automation, and AI
- Modernize liquidity management, forecasting, and reporting
- Strengthen ALM to minimize interest-rate and liquidity risks
- Sharpen cash-flow forecasting and scenario-based risk analysis
- Define funding needs (tenor, price, volume) and lower cost of funds and cost of carry
- Ensure SBV and internal compliance with strong controls
- Work closely and proactively with Funding, Finance and Risk teams
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the transformation of the Treasury function, introducing modern treasury systems and automation for liquidity management, cash-flow forecasting, and regulatory reporting, and exploring the application of AI and advanced analytics.
- Lead solutions for optimizing capital costs and enhancing the Asset and Liability Management (ALM) structure to strengthen risk management while serving the company's overall liquidity needs.
- Develop weekly and monthly financial models to forecast cash flow and funding requirements for a minimum of the next 6 months, defining the funding needs (tenor, price, and volume) to be executed by the funding team.
- Optimize the use of surplus liquidity cost-effectively and provide clear guidance on funding requirements to reduce the overall cost of funds.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to proactively identify and manage liquidity and interest-rate risks.
- Act as key point of contact with related departments, including Sales, Collection, Enterprise Risk Management, Commercial Finance, Accounting, and Headquarters, to support the objectives of the Treasury Department.
- Steer the department's daily, monthly, and yearly operations in alignment with the company's broader strategic vision.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive presentations to the ALCO and Headquarters, outlining strategies for optimizing funding and liquidity management.
- Review and update all regulations relating to the Treasury Department to ensure compliance with current requirements.
- Ensure the timely issuance of regulatory reports within scope (liquidity and SBV solvency, for both actuals and forecasts) and perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a similar field.
- Solid experience in Treasury /FP&A in CFC/Banking/Insurance
- Experience supporting treasury transformation initiatives (treasury system improvements/automation for liquidity management/etc)
- Strong understanding about financial markets, risk management techniques, cash management systems and banking instruments.
- Good analytical skill, financial modelling, financial analysis
- Proven stakeholders management skills
- Good communication & presentation skills
- Fluent English communication
