ABOUT THE JOB

Head Of Talent Development (Tech) is responsible for general consultancy on architecting and implementing innovative technical learning pathways that enhance the skills and competencies of colleagues in technology roles across India, Vietnam and Australia. This role aims to ensure that the organization has a highly skilled workforce capable of meeting current and future technical challenges, driving innovation, and maintaining competitive advantage.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Advise, and oversee learning pathways and learning framework & strategies that align with organizational goals and address the specific needs of NAB's future workforce.

Build a world class delivery centre of excellence. Lead the learning transformation agenda for T&EO ensuring program initiatives are aligned with NAB's broader strategy and transformation objectives.

Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to advise skill gaps and develop targeted learning solutions.

Lead and mentor the technical learning team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Evaluate the effectiveness of learning framework & strategies through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments, as necessary.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical training and development.

Foster partnerships with external training providers and educational institutions to enhance learning offerings.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must Have:

Proven experience in a senior consultant role (Head-of-level) within learning and development, preferably in a Technology environment.

Extensive background in designing and implementing learning framework strategies.

Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.

Familiarity with current trends and technologies in technical learning and development.

Deep understanding of varied delivery methodologies.

Other Capabilities (Key Skills)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in instructional design and adult learning principles.

Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and educational technologies.

Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.

Ability to advise on complex technical concepts and accessible learning materials.
