Job Description
As a Supply Chain Head, your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead strategic sourcing and supplier development across Vietnam and Asia.
- Strengthen existing supplier relationships and expand the manufacturing network.
- Manage supplier qualification, audits, negotiations, and performance reviews.
- Own demand planning, purchasing, inventory targets, and production scheduling.
- Manage purchase orders, production progress, supplier issues, and on-time delivery.
- Oversee international freight, customs, and inbound logistics.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations and customs requirements.
- Optimize supplier pricing, landed costs, inventory turns, and working capital.
- Develop scalable procedures, planning tools, reports, and supply chain KPIs.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Supply Chain Head Should Have
- Proven end-to-end supply chain leadership experience.
- Strong sourcing and manufacturing exposure across Vietnam and Asia.
- Good knowledge of supplier networks and manufacturing hubs in both markets.
- Experience in planning, procurement, inventory, international logistics, and customs.
- Strong commercial negotiation and cost-optimization capabilities.
- Hands-on and entrepreneurial, with the ability to work independently.
- Capable of building systems, processes, and a future regional team.
- Fluent in English; Chinese language capability would be advantageous.
