ACB's Transformation Management Office (TMO) is assembling a high-caliber, globally diverse team of strategists, transformation leaders, and domain experts from multiple countries and top-tier institutions.
This team is being built with a clear mandate: To collectively shape, accelerate, and successfully deliver ACB Group's multi-year transformation and long-term strategic vision.
As the Head of Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating this collective talent - aligning strategic direction, enabling execution excellence, and shaping the next chapter of ACB Group's evolution.
Role Overview
- You will serve as the chief architect of ACB Group's long-term strategy, from vision and business model design to execution governance and cross-entity alignment.
- Your leadership will shape not only the trajectory of ACB Bank, but also the strategy of ACB Group's subsidiaries, partnerships, and emerging ventures.
Key Responsibilities
Group-Level Strategic Direction & Market Intelligence
- Monitor macroeconomic, industry, regulatory, and technology trends
- Lead scenario planning and long-term implication analysis across the Group
- Advise the Chairman, CEO, and EXCO on strategic decisions
Corporate & Group Strategy Development
- Develop and refine the Group's medium- and long-term strategy
- Define new business models, ecosystem strategy, and portfolio-level roadmaps
- Build a clear strategic narrative for ACB Group's next decade
Strategy Execution System & Operating Model Integration
- Design and operate the Group Strategy Execution System
- Integrate strategy with planning, budgeting, OKRs/KPIs, governance, and communication
- Drive alignment across business units, subsidiaries, and functional areas
Strategic Governance & Enterprise Performance
- Establish Group-level KPIs, dashboards, and governance mechanisms
- Track strategic initiative progress and provide insights for timely adjustment
- Report strategic performance to C-suite and Board stakeholders
Strategic Partnerships, M&A & Ecosystem Development
- Evaluate and negotiate partnerships, alliances, and potential M&A
- Support development of new ventures and ecosystem expansion
- Build and develop a high-performing strategy team
Ideal Candidate Profile
We welcome both international and Vietnamese candidates.
Strong fits include:
- Associate Partner (or above) at top-tier consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, etc.), with strong experience in FS strategy & transformation
- Former consultants now in senior strategy roles in financial institutions
