About the Company
Our client is an international trading and distribution company expanding its footprint in Vietnam. The business focuses on performance materials and industrial solutions, including coatings, plastics, specialty chemicals, and related materials.
As the local operation is still in the setup phase, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on and entrepreneurial individual, with the ability to proactively propose business strategies to grow together with the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand B2B business opportunities in the Vietnam market
- Identify, approach, and build relationships with potential customers across industrial sectors
- Develop business from scratch and actively drive sales growth independently
- Search for and develop potential suppliers/manufacturers in Vietnam with support and coordination from HQ
- Coordinate with headquarters regarding suppliers, customers, pricing, logistics, and commercial activities
- Handle basic administrative, coordination, and reporting tasks as part of the local setup
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands
- Ensure smooth communication between local stakeholders and overseas teams
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience from chemical distribution.
- Strong B2B sales orientation with the ability to develop business as the independent contributor.
- Background in performance materials such as coatings, plastics, polymers, specialty chemicals, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Experience in supplier sourcing/vendor development is an advantage
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, is a must
- Able to work independently in a startup-like environment with high flexibility and responsibility
- Comfortable handling both commercial and coordination/administrative tasks
- Proactive, reliable, and highly self-motivated
- Strong sense of ownership, honesty, and accountability
- Ambitious, energetic, and eager to grow with the company
