Overview:
The Head of Sales & Distribution Mortgage is responsible for developing and executing the mortgage sales and distribution strategy in line with the Bank's strategic plan. You will drive the growth of the mortgage portfolio as a major business pillar in Vietnam, starting in Ho Chi Minh City and subsequently expanding to Hanoi. This leadership role encompasses the comprehensive management of sales channels, network expansion, and overall financial performance.
Responsibilities:
Business Development & Financial Management
- Set and drive comprehensive sales strategies to mobilize resources, achieving annual sales and revenue targets while managing direct Profit and Loss responsibilities for the mortgage business.
- Establish clear sales and distribution objectives with direct and measurable achievements.
- Collaborate with the Product management team to continuously seek new business opportunities through strategic partnerships and expand sales avenues.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Enforce high credit quality of mortgage loans through strict adherence to internal policies and guidelines.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory developments to proactively identify and mitigate inherent and emerging risks affecting the mortgage business.
- Align the mortgage sales strategy with internal and external regulatory frameworks to ensure full compliance across all related parties.
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, lead, and motivate the mortgage sales team to deliver and achieve both personal and departmental goals.
- Develop the skills and competencies of sales personnel by establishing individual annual development plans and ensuring adequate training and coaching.
- Provide clear career and succession planning for key staff positions within the mortgage sales team to ensure long-term retention and growth.
Skills & Experience We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in a related business or financial discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in a related field, featuring an excellent track record in business development, preferably within the financial industry.
- Strong goal orientation, problem-solving capabilities, and keen entrepreneurship skills.
- Effective written and alternative communication skills, with the ability to facilitate multi-stakeholder discussions, influence decisions, and creatively find solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, consistently meet implementation timelines, and effectively overcome challenges in a dynamic environment.
